Scholastic BOGO Book Fair Details Below

In Like a Lion! Out Like a Lamb!

As we witnessed, the first of March truly came in like a lion with a winter blast that brought up to 5 inches of snow throughout the Metroplex.

While we still have a few more weeks of “winter weather” ahead of us, spring is just around the corner.

As we look forward to balmy springtime weather, it is important to make sure your family is ready for severe weather including tornados, hail storms, flash floods etc.

At Junior’s Junction we practice “Severe Weather Drills” with your children so that they will be prepared for and not afraid of severe weather events.

It is important that you practice staying safe during “Severe Weather Events” at home as well.

• Write down your Severe Weather Safety Plan
• Include a Safe Place to gather
• Have an Emergency kit prepared with snacks, water, a flashlight, extra batteries, a portable radio, a fully charged cell phone, extra clothing, etc.

Practice at least once a month so your family will know what to do.

Have a safe and wonderful springtime adventure!

Scholastic BOGO Book Fair

This year we will host the Scholastic BOGO book Fair the week of April 6-10, 2015 from 4:30 – 6:00 PM daily.

This is a thank you book fair for supporting our fall book fair. For each book your purchase you may purchase a book of equal or lesser value free. This is a great opportunity to stock up for summer reading and gifts.

We are in need of Volunteers to work the BOGO Book Fair.

Please see Cheryl if you can help.
