Winter Weather Survival Guide!

As we head into the winter weather months, please make sure your child is prepared with a warm jacket, hat and gloves for outside play time.
In case of severe weather (ice & snow) please stay tuned to NBC5i.com  for school delays and closings. Our center follows both the Birdville and Hurst ISD’s for delays or closings. It is important also to call the center before coming in on inclement weather days to avoid unnecessary travel.
Winter weather also brings the height of cold and flu season. We follow the standards set forth by the City of Fort Worth Health Department in our decision to exclude a child from care. Those standards state that a child is excluded from care with a temp of 10.4 degrees or greater along with symptoms or changes in his/her ability to function as a part of a group. An excluded child may not return to school without a Doctor’s note stating he/she is healthy and can be in group care or until 24 hours after fever and/or symptoms have stopped without the aid of medication.

Please also note that Junior’s Junction will be CLOSED on Thursday 11/28 and Friday 11/29 in observance of Thanksgiving Holidays

Thank you for your support.
